Trench has created the UK's first "off the shelf" IP4X solution, which can be easily installed with Trench cable trunking, both as standard and to include retrofitting.

Designed to comply with IP4X regulations, the new components ensure installations are compliant and future proof.

IP stands for "Ingress Protection" and measures how well a device is protected from both solid objects and liquids. The IP4X standard ensures devices are protected from anything bigger than 1 mm and resistant to water splashes from any direction.

By simply adding to your order one IP4X Lid Fix Bar and one IP4X Outer U Piece for every join the installer can ensure the installation is compliant. Standard Trench Trunking accessories are also manufactured to allow any retrofit installation of the IP4X Bar and IP4X Outer U Piece. Furthermore, these additional items are available ex stock.
